Estate Documents Everyone Should Have- Regardless of Age!

💥 WILL – A will determines what happens to your property when you pass away. Remember, in Louisiana a spouse does not automatically inherit from you if you do not have a will!

💥 POWER OF ATTORNEY – A power of attorney gives a person the right to make decisions on your behalf. This is extremely important in the event you are unable to make these decisions on your own. You should have a financial and healthcare power of attorney, or a general power of attorney that covers all matters.

💥 LIVING WILL/ HEALTHCARE DECLARATION – A living will in Louisiana allows you to state whether you want to receive food or water through your veins if you are on life support and two doctors certify there is no chance of your recovery.
