Trusts allow one person, the Settlor, to restrict money or property for a beneficiary. Three reasons you may want to consider a trust:
- You may want a trust so that your children don’t inherit all of your assets when they turn 18.
- You could use a trust to hold money to pay only for certain things for the beneficiary, such as pay for their health or education, or to provide money to a beneficiary only if they pass a drug test.
- You may need a trust to provide for someone in your family who is disabled and receiving government benefits.
Trusts can be used for many purposes. See more information about trusts here . If you believe a trust is right for your family, contact us!
